Since the Miro new update 0.4.3, there is a lot of texboxes bugs.:sob:

I founded 4 textboxes bugs:

  1. Miro loses bullet points indentations
  2. Miro adds line breaks
  3. Miro deletes multiple spaces
  4. Miro is sometime frozed if I use more than 6000 chars.

:pray: Please Miro, downgrade fast to the previous version.

The bugs were reported on Saturday November 14 at 15:34.

Miro adds line breaks.
Miro deletes multiple spaces
Miro loses indentations.

Textboxes seems to be fixed. 😰 Five days with no works, it’s long but thx to Miro dev team to rolled back and Miro com team to pitch this bug. I’m afraid for the next bug if there is auto-update and we can’t downgrade on MacOS (possible on Windows).

👉Please consider to allow user to downgrade Miro version on MacOS.

@Julien - Not officially, as far as I know. However, I was able to do the following (I am on Windows 10):

I went to:

C:\Users\[WINDOWS USER NAME]\AppData\Local\RealtimeBoard\

In there I had folders for:

  • app-0.4.2
  • app-0.4.3

In the app-0.4.2 folder, I was able to launch Miro.exe and it was version 0.4.2 (press the Alt key to get the File menu bar).

Thx @Robert Johnson, I’ll test on Mac.

I don’t find Miro’s previous version 0.4.2 to launch it. I don’t know if it’s possible on MacOS.

Hi @Julien,

I’m so sorry :pensive:

The team is aware of all the bugs you mentioned, and do their best to fix them. I’ll update this thread as soon as these issues are fixed.

Thx @Marina

 It’s impossible to downgrade? 😱
Our team write all in bullet points so they can’t work for 5 days!

In addition, it is essential to be able to downgrade in the event of a bug.

👉Please, pitch for us.

How can I do the same on MacOS?

@Julien,

I’m afraid, it is impossible to do the same on MacOS. More than that, our engineers do not recommend working on previous app versions, as it can cause issues when you upgrade to the new version.

I understand that these are unpleasant bugs, but we are doing our best to fix them asap.

@Marina

I love Miro, but bugs are common (which is normal). We don't need more features, we need stability. And without downgrade we will also be at the mercy of the next bug. The inability to downgrade is a problem.🤕
