Text Issues

I am very new to Miro. I have been experimenting on the free plan. On one of the free boards I thought I would see if I could upload a picture. This worked, but doing this has done something to the text feature. After uploading the picture, I tried to use the type text feature. Instead of getting the usual text box in which to type. I blue line appeared - I though it was a condensed text box, but I was not able to expand it. When tried to use the dots at the end of the blue line all is did was change the position of the line. I then deleted the picture but the text issue remained.
