Hello there,

When I create a Miro template from a board, the thumbnail is not kept. :(
Do you have any idea to avoid this?

Thanks!

HI @Denis Lucet

Yes, you can change the thumbnail of your custom template in Miro. After you’ve created your template, follow these steps:

  • Open the template from Explore Templates

  • Click on the template name at the top of the screen

  • Select “Change thumbnail”

  • You can then:

    • Upload a custom image

    • Select a board area to be shown as the thumbnail

This allows you to give your template a more recognizable or branded visual, especially helpful if you’ve created multiple templates.

Thanks @Eca
I was interested in keeping the same thumbnail from the original board when I create a template but hopefully when the template’s thumbnail will be updated, the boards generated from the template will keep the same thumbnail as the template. I will test this.
