Trying to use Miro with a class but due to FERPA, I need students to be anonymous. They are able to work with the whiteboard without logging in, but when it is time for them to download the whiteboard for their own, separate analysis, which is part of the assignment, they're running into a lot of trouble with Miro, including being blocked from duplicating the whiteboard unless they join the "team." Is there a way to give them continued, anonymous access or to not have to join the team, or can I make separate teams for separate classes that would stay private?

Students can access a Miro board without signing in as Visitors, but some actions, such as duplicating a board, may require them to be logged in and/or have the appropriate access within the team.
For your use case, you may want to consider creating separate Space for each class if you need to keep the classes separated. However, since your setup involves student privacy and FERPA requirements, I’d recommend checking Miro’s current access and privacy options for your specific setup.
If the functionality you need is for students to remain anonymous while still being able to independently download or duplicate the board without joining the team, this may be a feature gap. In that case, I’d suggest sharing the use case in our Wish List so the team can consider it for future improvements.
