 Hello,

Card tags are overlapping the card title In Miro Mac arm desktop app 0.11.112.

Step to reproduce:

  1. Open Miro Mac desktop app
  2. Create a card in a board
  3. Add a tag to it
    1. The tag will be correctly displayed
  4. Close and reopen the board or reload the board (View > Refresh)

Hi @densmtl, thanks for reaching out! Is this behavior still persistent on your end?

I tried reproducing this on my side, but the issue wasn’t consistent. Since you mentioned you’re using the Miro Mac ARM desktop app (v0.11.112), it looks like the overlapping tag behavior may be specific to that app version.

To help us narrow this down:

  • Does the same overlap happen if you open the board in a web browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari)?

  • Does the issue persist across different boards or just the one you tested?

  • If possible, could you share a short screen recording showing the reload and overlap behavior?

Hello Eca,

Thank you for following up. It seems like it might be specific to the Mac desktop app as I dont see the same behaviour in Chrome, and it seems to be happening specifically on that board… I copy/pasted the cards from the board to another one, and they display fine.

How can I share the screen recording?

Hi @densmtl

thanks so much for testing that out and sharing the extra details — that’s very helpful! Since the issue doesn’t appear in Chrome and only affects one specific board in the Mac desktop app, it does sound like it could be app-related.

In the meantime, here are a few basic troubleshooting steps you can try for the Miro desktop app:

  • Make sure you’re running the latest version of the app (you can download the newest build from here)

  • Try fully quitting and restarting the app

  • Clear the app cache (Settings > Advanced > Clear cache and restart)

  • If the issue persists, try a reinstall of the app to ensure no corrupted files are causing this

As for sharing the screen recording, you can upload the video to a cloud storage service (like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) and then share the link here in the thread. That way we can review exactly what’s happening.
