Tables (Beta) issue with filters

Hi

I am a fan of the Tables function, especially when using the the linked Tables copies for different views by use of the filter function for the respective copies (e.g. used to get an overview of tasks per different projects, based on one data table source).

Unfortunately, the filters do not seem to be stored as created, instead they revert to one option for all parameters (either “and” or “or”) after closing and reopening the board. This causes time waste every time I open the document (daily), since I have to fix it to get the intended overview.

Please let me know if there is a feature to save the filter? If not, I wish this could be part of a future feature.

BR Vibeke.

Hi @Vibeke Wallaert,

Thank you for reaching out! I have your post converted into a support ticket. Please check your inbox for support’s response.

Hello,

I’ve created a table/timeline and originally, the filter function worked nicely but now, when I use it the entire table disappears. If I refresh my browser the table reappears but now the filter function won’t work at all. Any ideas?

Thank you!

The same problem still exists with the tables. Why to use a table if the filter does not work.

To be more precise the text filter with contains on a title column does not work - filters everything out/ does not display matched values.

Hi @J. Reimers,

Thank you both for sharing your experiences and details — especially regarding the filter behavior with disappearing tables and the “contains” condition not displaying matching values.

I’ve now converted this thread into a support ticket so the Miro team can take a closer look and track the issue across multiple reports. Please keep an eye on your inbox in case the team reaches out for additional information (such as board links, filters used, or screenshots).
