Sustainability credentials

Hey there. Maybe this has already been discussed somewhere but I was unable to find. I am looking for MIRO’s objectives, activities, or features that directly adress ESG considerations, and more specifically the enrvionmental ones? Do we have measures or reference bases? With all the AI-boosted features, what is the addtional energy spent, and how does MIRO account for it? I think it is critical this information is easily accessible. Thank you!

        While Miro hasn't yet published an official ESG or sustainability report that’s publicly available on its main website, as ​@Kenneth Ritley kindly shared, Miro has a profile on DitchCarbon, which estimates carbon intensity scores for companies based on available data. It’s a good starting point for gauging environmental impact.

        Thank you for this. I looked through it and unfortunately found no useful measurements whatsoever. Would you be willing to share what is your plan to disclose, what and when?

          Hi ​@Tristan Oertli AFAIK Miro has been disclosing some information, for example at the end of this you’ll find some more interesting highlights, and (not sure when) that they do plan to have disclosers (CDP, Ecovadis):

            Thank you Kenneth. I saw this and will be very interested to see the results: On top of the above, we are going to report our sustainability footprint and ambitions on platforms like Ecovadis & CDP by end of this fiscal year.

            Maybe someone can give us more clarity on when the fiscal year for Miro ends? 🤞🏻

              And ​@Eca just because you kindly answered to me, I am pinging you here but really this is a question for the Miro board (the real one) and hopefully this will be adressed in any future disclosure. When having a look at Electricity maps https://app.electricitymaps.com/zone/IE/72h/hourly, a website that gives you real time GHG emissions based on the energy mix for each country, we can clearly see that hosting in Ireland is basically the worst location in all Europe. Worth having a look at...

                    Thank you for raising this question, ​@Tristan Oertli  I love conducting sustainability workshops on Miro and would be thrilled to know more about Miro's own sustainability practices. It would be fantastic to have a minimalist version focused on sticky notes and connectors for running my workshops.
