Currently, the duplicate button is no longer present on the context menu when I select an object.  How do I edit the context menu to restore this button?  I am not interested in work arounds or other methods, I want to restore what was there.  I have already cleared my browser cache and verified the sharing settings (I’m the board owner).  Yesterday the duplicate function was on the context menu, today it is not. Thank you.

@Jeff Lewis I am noting this too on Windows 11 in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and the Miro desktop app, and in Business, Education, and Free plans:

However, I am still seeing the duplicate action in at least one Enterprise subscription:

I have submitted a support ticket and will update this post as I hear back.

For those who are interested in a workaround, Ctrl/Cmd + D will duplicate selected objects.

Contacting Miro Support

If you are using a paid Miro subscription, you can open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

If you do open a ticket, if would be helpful for the rest of the Community if you could update this post with the outcome.

Hello,

Follow up for everyone, the problem seems to have fixed itself. Today the duplicate button is back, but I cannot identify why.  For context, I have made no further troubleshooting attempts after the original post, and the computer was not turned off.  Unfortunately, if anyone has the problem in the future I do not have any further insight that may help at this time other than wait and check back.  Results from support tickets may still be useful to the community should anything be found.

@Jeff Lewis Glad to hear it’s fixed for you. It’s still happening on my end, and inconsistently across devices connected to networks in different geographical locations. I’ll report back as I hear from the support team.

@Jeff Lewis My duplicate and delete icons remain missing on my personal Dell laptop, and this happens on on clients (i.e., all browsers and the Miro desktop app). After nearly two weeks no one can figure out why this is happening so my ticket was closed as they move on to other higher priority tasks.

As it did for you, hopefully it resolves itself one day 😜
