Sidebar disappearing when working, how can I switch it back on?

@Marco Busycleta - There is no way for users to toggle the left-hand side content creation toolbar on/off.

If this is happening, then I would tend to jump to the conclusion that you are using Miro in a browser and that it the issue is related to browser memory or an extension.

To troubleshoot the issue using process of elimination, try:

  1. Closing/re-opening the browser
  2. Clearing the cache
  3. Disabling all extensions - usually opening a private/incognito window works
  4. Try another browser
  5. Try the Miro desktop app

@Marco Busycleta - The only way I know of that the content creation can be completely hidden is if you are on the board as a Guest editor and then the board owner switches the board’s Share settings from Anyone with the link → Can edit to Can view:

So, if that were case here, I suppose it is possible that someone could be playing tricks on you.

Nobody else was in the board so the only way was to refresh the browser window

@Marco Busycleta - To clarify, a user would not have to be on the board to change the Share settings - this can be done from the Miro dashboard too (but, yes, it was very unlikely that someone was messing with you :wink: ) However, keep this in mind for April 1, 2022 :sweat_smile:
