Share Template with company Admin

When I created a template and want to share it company wide, it says I should invite the company amin to the board. There is no dialogue or button anywhere to be found that can do that, nor can my admin edit my template, we just tried. How ist it meant to be done?

@Désirée Bein - Sharing with the admin done from outside of the context of sharing a template.

You will have to invite them using the Share button while in the board - you can also access the Share dialogue window by right-clicking on the board from your dashboard (or by using the ellipsis/three-dots).

More on inviting a user to a board can be found by scrolling down to "Ways to invite to a board" in the following help center article:

Can this be overwritten? I can’t seem to find anything in Admin Console that allows for it…..

@Paul Snedden - Are you asking if there is a way for a Company Admin to allow anyone to share a Custom Template at the Company level?

Yeah. No dramas, I since found out that the answer is no, by-design.

I’m not a fan of that limitation, because of the “fame and glory” that comes along with being known for creating awesome Miro templates. That, and if people have questions or improvement suggestions, they have to run the idea past a Company Admin and not the creator themselves.

@Paul Snedden - If you are on the Enterprise Plan, you could consider using boards as Template by sharing the board with the entire company in view-only mode. Here’s an post I wrote on the topic:
