Hello everyone.
A week ago I accidentaly deleted all I had on my Miro board at once. Still don’t understand how that happened. There were about 7400 objects, essential for my job. I am the board owner, not-paid plan. After reading all relative articles I tried to restore the board. I can see in my history the action of deleting, but the problem is when I click the restore button I see a pop up “restoring” for a couple of seconds, then it disappears and nothing happens. I’ve tried this multiple times and still can’t get my mind around it… what am I doing wrong?
Would appreciate any help.
Hi
It sounds like you're having a tough time restoring your board. If the restore button is not working as expected, you can still try following the steps outlined in this article: How to restore a deleted board.
If that doesn't work, I recommend bringing this up to Miro Support. let me know if the steps in the Help Center article did not help so I can connect you with them. Be sure to share the URL of the board so they can locate it and assist with the restoration.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
Hi
Thanks for your help, but it didn’t work out.
It’s not my board that dissapeared, it’s the objects from the board. I can easily access my board using the link but it’s empty=((( and the restore buttore still doesn’t function.
So, could you connect me with the Help Center, please. Not sure if I should share the link to my board here or via pm.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
If the activity/history panel shows the deletion action but the restore button isn’t functioning and the board remains empty, then this does sound like something the Miro Support team should investigate directly.
I'll go ahead and convert this post into a support ticket so the team can take a closer look. Once they reach out, you’ll be able to securely share the board URL in the ticket thread (no need to post it publicly here).
Please keep an eye on your inbox for a message from Miro Support shortly. Let me know if you don’t hear back within a couple of days or need help following up!
