I find interesting problem. 
I can select similar objects in board and add its to new layer.
When i move one objects of this layer, all is ok

But when i move some, its return to default layer.


Move 1: Layer not change

Hey ​@Eca sorry to say that I'm also experiencing this issue still,  just starting to experiment with using layered mind maps and I'm finding that nodes i either create in, or move into, layers other than default, are going back into the default layer - this seems to happen as a result of moving/collapsing nodes in the map.

Could you please send the exact steps for merging content onto a single Layer? This is not working in my file as the instructions are greyed out for moving the content to a single or default layer.

I wanted to follow up with an update—Miro's development team has now fixed the issue with moving objects added to layers! 🎉

Sadly this is still an issue for me.

Creating objects on Default, and dragging them on-top of a frame that is on a locked background layer, will instantly move that object to the background layer and lock it.
