Hi everyone

When I leave a board and go back out to the overview page with my spaces to the left. It will always select HOME. I think this is something new. Can this be changed.

If I am working within a space, looking at different boards, it is really annoying that I have to select the space every time I go back to the overview page. 

I know I could just use the new side bar and select other boards without going to the overview page. But I don’t like the side bar. All my boards have nice thumbnails pictures that I use to navigate more than the board names. And so, I prefer to go back to the overview page spot the right picture and click on that.

Any way to remain in the same space when exeting a board? 

@Johnnie Lindholt - Hmmm. I can’t recall what the behaviour was prior (and all of the recent changes have me questioning my memory at times).

I, too, would like for it to take me back to the Space to which I was working prior to opening a board (I would also like the ability to switch to another space from the Spaces sidebar while still on a board).

So, let’s just ask the support team, who will likely confirm with the product team, and at least we’ll have a definitive answer and the product team will have our feedback.

Here’s an update regarding the behavior when exiting a board and returning to the overview page:

The Miro Support team confirmed that currently, the default behavior is to always select the Home section when you leave a board and go back to the overview page. This is the expected behavior at the moment.

 

However, your feedback about staying within the same space after exiting a board has been noted by the team for possible future improvements. Unfortunately, there is no ETA for when or if this change will be implemented.
