I'm making a flowchart in Miro, but I can't replace one of the nodes (node 1), already connected by arrows, with another (node 2), which is not connected by arrows, but better comments on what I want in that node.

This is to avoid having to remove the arrows from node 1 and manually connect the arrows to node 2.

I don't know if I was clear enough.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

A screenshot would likely help. Or even better, a video - Loom is free and quite easy to use and share.

I too would like to know how to copy one node and replace another node with it without affecting the children of the replaced node. We can obviously copy a node, but when I select another node there’s no option to replace it with the one that I copied. This seems like an obvious and trival thing that should have been one of the first core functions added to the UI but I cannot figure out how to do it.

This guy wants to preserve the comments on his node that he copies as well. Which makes sense. You make all these customizations and styles and comments on a node, copy it, and then you cannot do anything with they copy you made….
