Hi @Nils Matthiesen,
Thank you for your questions!
-
Restricting who can import JIRA tickets to a Miro board
Anyone with access to the board can add JIRA tickets. However, I recommend reviewing user permissions within Miro to ensure that sensitive information is properly managed.
-
Number of fields displayed in JIRA card preview
In the JIRA card preview, Miro generally displays a limited number of fields like the ticket summary and other key information. However, you do not have direct control over the number of fields displayed, and access to these fields is tied to the permissions set in JIRA. If the fields are sensitive, it's important to set proper permissions in JIRA to manage who has access to the information before importing it to Miro.
Feel free to share any more details if you'd like further clarification, and I hope this helps!
Hey @Eca ,
thanks for the reply and sorry for reacting so late!
I have follow up questions for 2. since it still isn’t really clear to me:
- Is it correct that the fields in the detailled view of a JIRA-Card can vary based on the configuration and only be seen be user with the correct JIRA Permissions?
- And is it also correct that the fields displayed on the JIRA card preview everyone with the Miro board permission can see are fixed to some specific fields and cannot be configured? I have access to a demo board now and the fields i can see there as a guest without JIRA permission are: summary, status, issue type, id, priority, assignee, sprint and story point estimate.
Best regards,
Nils
