Publishing Images of Miro Board (Copyright)

Hello, I have a similar question. I wish to screen grab something I did on Miro as part of a chapter in an academic journal. The publisher has requested that “the software license must allow the figures to be used for commercial publication”. I have a paid Miro licence - is there anywhere that says I can use the screenshot for commercial publication? Thanks ​@Eca

Good morning Miro Team, this is also a question of copyrights:

I am planning to include an image export of a Miro Kanban board that I created in my book Agile Solo, which will be published as a commercial ebook.

My book is a practical guide for independent workers where I adapted the Agile methodology for Solo workers.

I’m asking permission for the use of this. As indicated in Miro Community discussions, users retain ownership of the content they create; so I think this is OK but please confirm.

I’m also suggesting my readers to use your application as you have lovely templates for Agile, so I’m including screenshots of some examples of templates (Sailboat retrospective visualization by Miro, https://miro.com/templates/moscow-prioritization/ and https://miro.com/templates/basic-impact-effort-matrix/ ), all these screens are public accessible, not only for users.  Obviously I’ll add your name as source and the link to the source information.

Could Miro’s legal team please provide written permission or tell me how I am allowed to use those screenshots for my book?
