Dear Miro-Community,

We have a problem when guests want to access public board via browser. The miro symbol is just loading there and isn’t forwarding to the password section. I tried deleting cookies or using another browser all the same (android).

Thank’s for advice!

Daniel

@Daniel Spletzer -

Does this happen only when guests (now known as visitors) access it, or also for named users?

What happens when access is attempted using incognito mode in the browser?

Is this only with one board or any board?

It just happens vor visitors. For named users it is fine.

What happens when access is attempted using incognito mode in the browser?

It is still not working. I tried.

Is this only with one board or any board?

It is also with other Boards in the Team Acc.

Thanks for Asking!

One possible culprit is WebSockets being blocked by those guests' network. You can read more about this here:

I think that’s not it.

Appreciate your help!

@Daniel Spletzer - if you want to spin up a test board with visitor access enabled and a password of test1234, PM me the link and I'll see if it works for me.

We use a Team-Plan.

There is important to add that the problem is there with a mobile browser! I forgot to mention that sry.

@Daniel Spletzer - You cannot access password protected boards from both the mobile app and a mobile browser.

As per the Password Protection for Public Boards Help Center article:
