I use the poll feature frequently on my boards.
On 18.8. it worked just fine.
On 19.8. i am able to create the poll but when pressing the "start" button nothing happens.
Any ideas?

Thanks for flagging this! Just to clarify a couple of details:
Are you seeing the issue on all boards or only on a specific one?
Does it happen for all team members or just on your side?
Have you already tried in another browser or incognito window to rule out a cache/cookie issue?
Since the polling feature should start once you click “Start,” the fact that nothing happens suggests either a temporary glitch or possibly a bug introduced in the last update. In the meantime, you might want to try duplicating the board or creating a new poll on a test board to see if it runs there. That can help narrow down whether it’s board-specific.
Let us know what you find out — I’m sure other community members using polls would benefit from your update too!

I’ve tested this on different boards, including:
Older boards with existing polls (created before 19.8.)
Older boards (pre 19.8.) with newly created polls (20.8.)
A new board with new polls (created on 20.8.)
Duplicated boards that previously had a working poll
It seems the issue might be on my side, since I’m the administrator of the boards. I’ve tried different browsers (Edge, Chrome, and Incognito mode), but the result is always the same – the polls won’t start.
Since I start all my classes with a short check-in poll to review what we did last time, I hope this is something simple to fix. I’m still trying to figure out whether there’s just a checkbox or setting I need to activate (there is always hope...)

Since you’ve tried multiple boards, duplication, and different browsers/incognito without success, that rules out most of the quick fixes.
A couple of additional steps you could still try:
Clear your browser cache/cookies completely, then log back in.
Check whether disabling extensions (like ad blockers or privacy tools) makes any difference.
If you have access to another device, see if polls will start there — this can confirm whether it’s tied to your account or your setup.
If none of these help, please let me know so I can loop in the support team. They’ll be able to look into the logs and confirm if this is a broader bug.
As mysteriously as the error appeared, it has now vanished — everything is working smoothly again!
