Plain, Blank Whiteboard

How do I use Miro as just a plain, blank whiteboard?

I’m new to it and have spent several hours now looking for just the whiteboard feature sans all the fancy shapes, templates, stickies, etc. I just want a plain whiteboard that I can draw on. What “button” or setting lets me do that?

@StacyT - Simply create a “new board”, which will be blank/empty and then use the pen tool to draw using your mouse. Or you can use a stylus on on a touchscreen device (smartphone, tablet, laptop with touchscreen, etc.) or you can connect a pen tablet such as a Wacom Intous or use your finger on your touchscreen - whatever works for you.

You can create a new board by using the New board option:

Or even by browsing to https://miro.new in your browser.

NOTE: If the “templates” window opens when you are creating a new board, you are not required to chose a template. Just close the window:

Thank you Robert. With so many options available the simplest things can seem the hardest. I appreciate the quick reply.
