Question

Number of accounts exceeded

Trying to log in with my M365 domain to join my company’s existing Miro organization. I am getting an error message stating that the max number of accounts has been exceeded when using that email address. When I create an account and try to change the email later, I am getting an error saying the link is invalid.

Hi! It sounds like your email/domain may already be associated with an existing Miro account or organization, which could explain the maximum number of accounts exceeded message.

I would recommend checking whether you already have a Miro account under that M365 email address and, if possible, asking your company’s Miro admin to confirm that your account is properly provisioned in the existing organization.

For the invalid link error when changing the email try requesting a fresh verification/change-email link and opening it directly from the newest email rather than using an older link.

If the issue continues Miro Support would probably be the best option since they can check the account/domain association on their side. Providing them with the exact error messages and your company domain should help them troubleshoot it faster.

HI @alexrp

Thanks for reporting this!

Since this appears to involve your Miro account and joining your company's existing organization, I'll convert this case to a Support ticket so the team can investigate the account and email-related errors directly. Please send the following information to the ticket I will be creating for you: email address you're trying to use and, if possible, screenshots of the error messages (with any sensitive information hidden). The Support team will be able to take a closer look at what's preventing you from joining the organization.
