New account creating problem

I already have an account on the service and wanted to change the email address linked to it, as I’ve set up a new primary email address. I changed the email address in the settings, and an email with a link arrived at the new address. After clicking the link, I was asked to log in (for some reason), so I chose the option to log in via Google, after which it simply created a new account, unrelated to the previous one, on which I had wanted to change the email address. I deleted the newly created account and went back to the old one to resubmit the email change request – as a result, I can no longer create or log in to an account with the new email address (“The allowed number of accounts is exceeded. Please use a different email address.") and I cannot receive a password reset email to the new address (if, as the notification states, an account for that email address already exists).

I have already given up on the idea of changing the email address on the old account, but how can I simply create a new one?

HI @Evgen Balabanov It sounds like the login with Google created a separate account using the new email, and even though you deleted it, the email may still be temporarily reserved in the system. Because of that, you’re now seeing the message about the allowed number of accounts being exceeded. I have your case converted to a support ticket so the team can investigate further on the back end. You should receive a response shortly.
