I was invited to join a board in Miro during the height of the pandemic--so I am on a random professor’s team at my institution. I now need to migrate my boards to my own account (Educational) so I can manage members of my team.
Please advise, and thank you.

I just tried to request my own educational account, and it was immediately granted, but when I logged in, nothing had changed.
Try looking for a new team by selecting the team's name in the upper-left corner of the dashboard:

However, you would need your own/another team to move the boards to.

Unfortunately, I do not technically have my own account where I am an admin, but my institutional email has been used to add me to a team.

I understand how to move the boards, but I have no ability to do so, and no team I control to move them to.
I think I need Miro to help me, but this seems impossible. Losing hope...
