Hello fellow members,

My education email address is no longer working, and I've lost access to it. I'm wondering if there's a solution to recover it or regain access. Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

I've lost everything related to my account. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have lost everything related to my account.

Sincerely

Hi @MikeD,

Thanks for reaching out!

Even if your education email is no longer active, you can still log into Miro as long as you remember your password. Once logged in, you should still have access to your boards. If you haven’t set a password or can’t remember it, please note that Miro Support can’t provide further recovery options if the email is inaccessible and no password was previously set. This is due to Miro’s security policy.

If you were part of a team, you could ask a collaborator or team admin to re-invite you to the boards using a different email. The team admin could also remove your inactive email and reassign your access.

Let us know if any of these solutions work for you, and don’t hesitate to reach out with further questions.

Hi - I have a similar problem.   I set up a Miro board using my work email many years ago.  I changed companies several years ago but kept using the same old work email and using password login for the Miro board, which was not a problem.   But now when I try to log in it prompts for a code which is sent to the old company’s email address.   The old company no longer exists.   I have a valid login and password but the email address where the code is sent to no longer exists.   Can anyone help?
