My bords disappeared by themselves

Forum|alt.badge.img

Today when I accessed Miro, most of my boards had disappeared, the boards were updated 6 months ago and there is no billing history despite paying by credit card. Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips? I'm desperate!

Was it helpful?

Hi, same for me.
I tried to enter my board but it’s not visible anywhere. I had saved link but it’s not working (saying that I have no access to the board despite I was the only person assigned to this boad).

Can anyone help on that? Great thanks

Hi @Samara Brizante  and @Godvolf  — I’m so sorry you’re running into this, I can understand how stressful it must feel

There are a few possibilities here, such as:

  • Accidentally accessing a different Miro profile or team (especially if you’ve ever signed in with multiple emails or SSO)

  • The boards being moved or deleted from an old team that’s no longer active

I recommend:

  1. Checking your Dashboard to see if any other teams show in the top-left team switcher dropdown

  2. Visiting your Profile settings > Teams tab to review what workspaces you’re part of

  3. Searching your email inbox for keywords like “You’ve been added to a team in Miro” to find all accounts/teams you may have joined

If you're still unable to find your boards, please reach out to Miro Support directly — they can securely check workspace and board ownership from the backend.

I hope this gets resolved quickly for you both! Let us know if you’re able to locate anything 💛

Hello @Eca thanks for your message. I'm a paid member and the problem continues. The possibilities you listed didn't work for me - nome of them represent what caused the problem for me. I need to go back to work on the content I was building in Miro, but the most of my boards disappeared. Miro platform is not reliable? What is happening? It's very stressful.

Even the boards that I still have access to (only 3) have very old content, all the changes made in the last 12 months have disappeared. Please, can someone help me please??

I was own member of many teams and the main teams disappeared, as well as some boards disappeared. There are no mentions about them, I have no content anymore. Everything I have already created within Miro had disappeared. I've never had a paid account with this my login. Can somebody help me? All my life in Miro disappeared :(

Hi @Samara Brizante,

Thank you for getting back to me!

Since you’ve already double-checked the possibilities I mentioned and the issue persists (including missing updates from the last 12 months), the best next step is to have Miro Support investigate this further for you. They’ll be able to dig deeper into what happened and how to recover your work if possible.

You can contact Miro Support directly here: Submit a ticket to Miro Support

When you reach out, I recommend including:

  • The email address associated with your Miro account

  • Names of the missing boards (if you remember them)

  • Any links you may still have to the boards

  • Screenshots of your current dashboard view if possible

This will help the Support team speed up the investigation.

I’m really sorry again for the trouble you’re experiencing — I hope this gets resolved as soon as possible! Please feel free to update us here as well if you learn anything new. 💛

Hi @Samara Brizante,

Thanks so much for sharing this additional post. I see that you've already raised a similar concern earlier, and I’ve responded to you there as well.

To help keep the conversation clear and make it easier for us to track everything in one place, I’ll go ahead and merge this new post with your original thread. This way, all updates and next steps can stay together without any confusion.

Thank you again for your patience!
