Hello, is it possible to create multidementional swimlane over 2500 cells? I’am creating makigami and need to create more than 2500. 

I use free version. Is it possible to do it in payment versions?

    Yes, Miro currently enforces a maximum limit of 6,000 symbols in every cell. The limit includes spaces and all style changes in code, so text formatting may decrease the number of symbols you can input, regardless of your subscription plan. This limitation is documented in Miro’s official Help Center:

    “You can select the size of your Grid directly from the toolbar. The maximum number of cells per Grid is 2,500.”

    This means that even on paid plans, you won’t be able to create a single table with more than 2,500 cells.

     

    If you're working on a complex Makigami process that exceeds this limit, here are a few workarounds:

    • Split your workflow into multiple smaller tables (e.g., by phase or team) and link them visually with connectors or frames.

    • Use shapes and text boxes + connection lines manually to simulate a table if you need more flexibility than the Table widget allows.

    • Mindmap tool can also be a great alternative.

    • Embed external spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel) into your Miro board for dynamic scaling.
