@Willem Maas - I would check your Navigation Mode settings ← there’s a good video in that help article.

If using a mouse, you’ll want to click-and-drag on a blank spot on the board. You can also turn your cursor from the select/arrow to a hand and then click and drag using the

• select icon on the content creation toolbar
• V key on your keyboard
• or by holding down the spacebar on your keyboard.

You can also use the Navigation pane at the bottom-right corner of the board:

And if you don’t see it at first, you can pin it open:

Again, take some time to review the Navigation Mode help article as there are number of ways to navigate the board based upon your input method, e.g., smartphone/tablet/laptop touchscreen, mouse, trackpad.
