When opening up Miro after a recent update, it shows boards for 1-2 seconds and then it disappears. Reinstalling has not effect. There is no error prompt. What can be the issue?

@Madalin Foghis -

Can you find the Miro executable in C:\Users\,Your User Name>\AppData\Local\RealtimeBoard and confirm the version number? I’m using 0.7.9.0 and I confirmed that it is working correctly on my Windows 10 laptop.

@Madalin Foghis - Desktop version 0.7.9 64-bit working fine for me too (Windows 11).

Are you using the version from https://miro.com/apps/ or from the Microsoft Store? If the MS Store one, I suggest switching to the one from https://miro.com/apps/ as there are some restrictions in the MS Store version.

Tip: To confirm your version, if you have the one from miro.com/apps, press the Alt key while on the Boards tap to expose the Help menu:

I use the same version on Windows 11 Laptop. Still not working regardless of how I run the program.

I have the one from Miro apps directly, as the the one from MS has some limitations. Might it be something that interferes with Miro?

@Madalin Foghis -

It is possible that it is something else installed on your PC which is conflicting with Miro. You could try launching Windows in safe mode to see if you can isolate what that might be.

Another troubleshooting guide to follow as your issue could be related to your network environment (antivirus, VPN, firewall, etc.): https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572694-Add-Miro-to-allowed-apps
