Hello, 

A worrying thing happened and think it is do with the setup of accounts but has left me questioning the privacy of my boards. 

 

I have had 36 licences assigned to my company and we manage the privacy of our spaces and boards with invited users. 

I have just seen a new company been added with same title (different logo) and they have been given “Commenter” rights to all our boards. So my confidential boards now can be seen by other employees of my company who sit in this “other company group”. Who could do this? Not sure why I have two “companies” added.  

 

I now do not trust that this wont happen again - I am tracing through IT how this happened and now trying from Miro side how to prevent this or password protect each confidential board i own. 

 

Any suggestions and tips on privacy of confidential material on boards?

Hi ​@stinn, thanks for bringing this up — I understand how concerning that experience must be, especially when working with confidential boards.

 

You did the right thing by also reaching out to your IT team. I’d recommend contacting Miro Support directly as well so they can take a closer look at your account.
