Hello Miro Community Team,
I’m reaching out regarding my Miro Meetup Ambassador account, which appears to have been deactivated recently, despite the fact that I had already been actively planning an upcoming Miro meetup in Kalyani that was initially approved.
The event is still visible on the Miro calendar, but I noticed that Miro is no longer listed as a co-host, which made me concerned about the status of both my Ambassador account and the upcoming event.
I had been preparing to host “Miro Meetups Kalyani — Build, Collaborate & Visualize Together” on 2 October 2026 at Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal.
The event is already set up and the planning is well underway. At the moment, the event page shows 44 people going, and I have already been coordinating the venue and other arrangements in advance.
I also want to clarify that, as part of the event planning process, I filled out the Miro G-form requesting the event funding/support amount. In that form, I had estimated approximately 40 attendees for the meetup. The current registration/attendance interest is around 44 people, so the estimate I provided was quite close to the actual number of people who have expressed interest in attending.
Based on the planned event and the expected attendance, I had also made advance financial commitments and payments towards the arrangements for the meetup. These commitments were made while planning the event in good faith, even though community event attendance can never be completely guaranteed.
I completely understand that there may be requirements or guidelines associated with the Miro Meetup Ambassador program, and I am happy to provide any additional information or clarification regarding the event, expected attendance, expenses, or planning process.
Could a Miro Community Admin please review my Ambassador account and the upcoming meetup, and let me know what led to the deactivation and whether my Ambassador status can be reinstated?
Since the meetup is already scheduled for 2 October and preparations are underway, I would particularly appreciate a review at the earliest possible convenience so that I can understand how to proceed with the event.
I would really appreciate the opportunity to continue organizing Miro community events and building the local Miro community in Kalyani.
