As titled. It is extremely frustrating, because I am selecting text to move or edit it, but the auto zoom out makes the text small and illegible and I also have to zoom back in manually, often in the process lose the selection.
It is also not accessibility friendly, too much sudden movement on the screen. I wish Miro has an option to disable these “automatic” features and just let users enjoy a steady display and have full control of zoom-level.

At the moment, Miro sometimes automatically adjusts the zoom when selecting text or objects. While intended to help with precision editing, we understand it can be disruptive. A few strategies that might help in the meantime:

Use keyboard shortcuts for zooming (
Ctrl/Cmd +/Ctrl/Cmd -) to quickly reset zoom without losing selection. -
Toggle Reduce Motion in the board settings— this can reduce unexpected auto-zoom adjustments.

Try smaller text boxes or frames — smaller areas sometimes trigger less aggressive auto-zoom.

- It doesn’t help. The idea is to stop zooming and have a steady view of the text I am editing. Not getting automatically zoomed out and then try manually zooming in. I lose my selection in either of the processes.
- I’ve also tried it. It doesn’t stop the auto-zoom out at all.
Please, I think the right way to resolve this is to have an option to disable to auto-zoom function on Table/Cell selection. I understand that it is meant to be helpful, but it’s doing the exact opposite and making tables almost unusable. Imagine trying to edit a text, the moment you finish selecting it, the board zooms far back out and reset your selection. You zoom back in, trying to do it again, only for it to repeat.
