We have been working in a Miro board for the last 5 months but when we accessed it today, the baord is completely empty, all of the information that was in the board has disappeared. Is there a way to retrieve it or can someone explain why this might be please?

Thank you.

Hi @James O'Brien,

Thanks for bringing this up!

I’m sorry to hear that all the board information seems to have disappeared; I know that’s frustrating after so much work. I feel for you.

To help investigate this, could you let us know:

  • If anyone else on your team has access to the board, and if they also see it as empty?
  • Whether you've checked the “Activity log” or “Version history” to see if any changes are recorded there?
  • If there were any recent changes to permissions or team members who might have had editing access?

With a bit more detail, we can figure out the steps for recovering your board.

Hi, yes, other people have access to the board and they are also not able to see the information.

I have looked for the side bar with the options for the version history but can not find them.

Thank you

Hi @James O'Brien,

Thanks for confirming that others also can't see the information. I’ll convert your case into a support ticket so this can be investigated further. PLease check your inbox for their response.

Kindly also share the following information with the support team:

  1. Board name
  2. Board URL link
  3. Team name where the board is stored
  4. Last time the board was okay (date and time)

With these details, the team can look more closely at what may have happened.

Thanks for your patience on this!
