Hello Miro Community,
I am on a Free plan and recently ran into a frustrating situation with a spam team that resulted in losing access to my own boards. I need some advice on what can be done here.
The Situation:
My account was somehow joined to a malicious spam team. The owner of that team is using a Russian phishing phrase as their display name: "Ваша выплата ожидает 126 365 RUB." (which translates to English as "Your payout of 126 365 RUB is waiting for you").
To clear this spam from my dashboard, I used the "Leave team" option. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the boards I had created while being inside that workspace environment were structurally tied to that team. As a result, I completely lost access to all my work.
I fully realize that this is likely a double mistake on my part: first, for somehow blindly ending up in that team in the first place, and second, for not reading carefully enough before leaving it and losing my data.
However, the system now tells me to "Request access" from the owner to get my boards back. Interacting with an obvious malicious phishing account poses serious security risks, so I cannot do that.
Apart from reaching out to the spammer, is there anything else that can be done in this situation to recover my boards or transfer them to my new safe workspace?
Thank you for any advice or help!
