Lost access to boards as Education workspace owner, boards disappeared completely

Hi everyone,

I suddenly lost access to several Miro boards even though I am the owner/admin of the Education workspace where they were originally created, and I am logged into the correct account.

The boards completely disappeared from search and workspace view. I already checked:

  • all teams/workspaces,

  • trash/archive,

  • different login methods.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to recover missing boards/workspaces?

Would really appreciate any advice.

Hi @anymore

Thanks for reporting this. Since you already checked other workspaces, your case has been converted into a Support ticket for further review.

In the meantime, please also check whether:

  • other workspace members can still access the boards
  • direct board links/bookmarks still open
  • there were any recent changes to the Education workspace

The team will follow up with you directly once they have more information.

Hi @Eca

Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, other workspace members also cannot access the boards anymore.

Direct board links either do not open or show that the board is unavailable.

I’ll wait for the Support team response. Thank you.

Hi @Eca
It has now been 14 days since this case was converted into a support ticket, but I still haven’t received any follow-up or update.
The issue is still unresolved: the boards are missing, other workspace members cannot access them, and direct board links show that the boards are unavailable.
Could you please check the status of the support ticket and escalate this if needed? These boards are important, and I’d really appreciate any update on whether they can be recovered.
Thank you.

HI @anymore, I understand these boards are important, and I appreciate your patience while the team looks into this further.

It looks like the ticket I converted previously may not have been properly pushed through to the appropriate queue. I’ll create another support ticket for you and make sure it reaches the right team for investigation and follow-up regarding the missing boards and possible recovery.
