Hi all!

For a specfic one day event, such as a wedding, I'm looking for a timeline/planning template that allows me to group events and plan them in certain timeslots. The Miro templates I’ve found so far all need their events/tasks to be planned over a day long, but I want all the events to be displayed in a 24h timeframe.

example: entrance between 09:00-10:00 ; 09:30 arrival of speaker 1 & setup ; 10:00-11:00 talk of speaker 1 ; while simultaneously speaker 2 arrives at 10:45. etc.

Looking forward to your tips & tricks!

Hi @JovB!

Miro’s built-in timeline can feel too zoomed out for single-day events. For something like a wedding or a tightly scheduled event, I recommend a few workarounds:

Custom timeline layout – Use sticky notes or shapes with timestamps (e.g., 09:00, 09:30...) and create horizontal rows for categories like speakers, logistics, or guests. This helps show overlap and sequencing clearly.

Template suggestions:

  • Daily Schedule templates in Miroverse — these are useful for hour-by-hour planning.

  • Gantt Chart for Event Planning — you can adjust it for a single-day focus.

  • You can also explore other templates by searching for “event planning” or “agenda” in Miroverse.

Thank you so much Eca! I’ll puzzle with your suggestions.
Have a great day!

-Jo
