I would like to have MIRO be able to have linked layered or nested boards

Top level board that is a simplified summary of ideas.  Each component on the highest level could break down to a lower level board where the high level component is decomposed into more detail

Many management type users want succinct summaries of ideas (top layer good for them)

People who have to build or develop ideas need to drill down into more detail.  The devil is always in the detail.  The lower layers provide the more detailed views that satisfy the builders or developers of the ideas.

Should not be limited to 2 layers - should be any number of layers.

While it doesn’t directly provide a nesting or layering ability, through use of Miro links, you could have a top-level board with links to a number of child boards. If you aren’t familiar with this capability, here is the Help Center article on the capability: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572354-Internal-and-external-linking

@Dibsdalec Sounds like a cool idea! Do you imagine it like zooming in and out of the layered boards (similar to Prezi back in the days)? Or is it more like the Project Xanadu prototype?

@Henrik Ståhl The zooming idea sounds very “MIRO” I like it.  Upper levels need some kind of marker to show there are lower levels.

Could one upper level have many next layer down boards?  Could have different templates for lower levels.  IDEF0 diagrams - Systems Thinking Maps - UML - SysML would all benefit.
