Hi,

I am new to Miro.

I seem to be having an issue with some shapes locking in certain places - they won’t go where I want them to go and they then push other shapes out of the way.

I have turned off ‘snap’ and also used ‘CTRL’ to stop it snapping the shape, but these aren’t working.

Greatly appreciate any help.

@MiroMiroOnTheWall - The only explanation that makes sense to me based upon the behaviour you are describing is that your objects are in a frame and you have grid mode enabled in the frame - you can read more about this here:

If that isn't the reason it does not match your scenario, it would be helpful to see an example of what is happening on your end. Loom is free, quite easy to use, and very easy to share a screen recording.
