Issue with ellipsis/more/context menu not opening

Since today, the options “Bring to front,” “Send to back,” and “Bring forward” no longer work in Miro. In the toolbar, the last box with the three dots only shows the word “More”, but the dropdown menu with additional options (such as Paste, etc.) no longer appears.

This makes it impossible to arrange objects on the board as before.

Could you please look into this issue?

@Tati Soul  That sounds like a Miro bug for sure— here’s how to properly report a bug with Miro: help article here

I hope they fix it.  

As a temporary work around try the hotkey command for move back/front:  fn+↑ (function + up arrow (or down)) 

Hopefully that still works. 
 

And worse comes to worst: cut and paste an item to get it back to front of the stack.

@Tati Soul I am not seeing what you are seeing - perhaps it is as Max said, a bug, or Miro is experimenting with a new context menu. If it is still happening, please share:

  • what OS you are using
  • how you are accessing Miro, e.g., browser? And if so, which one?
  • a screenshot of what you are seeing.

I have the same problem. The three dots are not working. Luckily the hotkeys are working.

@Tati Soul / ​@Johannes Hocksell The broken ellipsis-context-menu is a known bug at the moment. The workaround is to reload the board.

Just let me know:

Are you using Miro in a browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge) or the desktop app?

Did this issue start after a recent update or login?

Are other users on your team experiencing the same issue, or is it just you?

I think may be it's a local glitch, a bug, or a UI update.
