Hello!
I submitted a feature request but am curious if other users also want this + if so, what do you currently do when you want colalborators to brainstorm something individually (without influencing each other) before coming together to share their ideas?

@Luke Flegg - If the individual work is fairy simple, e.g., creating some sticky notes/shapes/etc., then one really quick way to deal with this is to have them quickly open a Miro Lite board, add their stuff, and them copy-and-paste it onto the main board where everyone is collaborating from. And, if you had a framework/template you wanted them to use, you could have everyone copy and paste that onto the Miro Lite board.

How this could work:

  1. You put a link to Miro Lite (http://miro.com/lite) on your board
  2. users click that and open it in a new browser tab
  3. a new, temporary board is created (they could even choose to invite someone else to that board to collaborate with them)
  4. when done, they copy the objects to their clipboard
  5. they switch back to the other Miro board/browser tab
  6. and then paste their work onto the board.

Wow! Didn’t know about Miro Lite at all! Thank you so much. I’d still love to have ‘private frames’ for group brainstorms, but for a workaround, this is a heck of a lot better than what I’ve been doing.

@Luke Flegg That’s one of Mural’s features that I would love to see in Miro. By the way, I love your suggestion on integrating the timer with the blind mode feature. Upvoted!
