Hi everyone,

i would like to move some boards from an old team to another one.

Now the problem is, that the email adress of the board owner (which is needed to move boards) no longer exists (domain change in the past year) and no one has the password of the account.

Is it possible to reset a password in a different way than the email adress? Or to move the board ownership in a differnet way? Any workarrounds?

Kind regards

Lena

@Mxl If this is a free plan team, you could duplicate any boards that you do not own and then move the duplicates — I have detailed the steps here:

If you are using a paid subscription, you could open a ticket with the Miro Support team — maybe they have a process in place to help. Paid subscribers can open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

HI @Mxl

Since the board owner no longer has access to the email address associated with the account, this will need to be reviewed by Miro Support.

I've converted your post into a support ticket so the team can investigate the available recovery and ownership transfer options. They may ask for additional information to verify ownership of the team and the affected boards.

Please keep an eye on your inbox, as the Support team will reach out if they need any further details.
