Is it possible to disable the Update Prompt in Windows?

In the span of 3h I have received 10+ update prompts/popup asking me to relaunch Miro to update to the latest version.

How can i disable this? It is very annoying and very distracting while working. Especially that it focus changes the Mouse from what I’m doing to the popup

I am seriously considering switching to another board app if this is not resolved.

Miro may occasionally prompt for updates, but receiving that many in a short time isn’t expected behavior.

Since this may involve a bug with the app’s updater, I’ve gone ahead and converted your post into a support ticket so our Support team can investigate directly. They’ll reach out soon to help you resolve this.

In the meantime, if the repeated prompts persist, you can temporarily access Miro from your browser at https://miro.com/app to continue working without interruption.

    This is still an issue

    Every day I get a new update prompt, and if I don’t update and restart the application - completely disrupting my flow - I get pinged every hour to do it, all day. I can’t even leave the application open in the background. And it’s always for a small micro update (0.00.001 incremental update).

    I would never pay for this product or recommend it if it weren’t for my company using it, because of this issue - yes, it’s truly that bad. I’ve been dealing with this for almost 3 years now.

    Please add an option to disable or change the update behavior
