Question

[INVESTIGATING] Spaces listing boards despite board being assigned to another space.

I have several spaces, each with set members. On my end, as of this morning, it appears as though all boards are being listed in every space. When I click on an individual board it is clearly situated in the correct space, but I am finding it very alarming and confusing that the board is visually listed in a space that it is clearly not assigned to.

Same here and basically with every person on our school. Education plans.
All boards are in all spaces/ spaces have no functionality.
Also in raster view, no board has a board icon.

I have the exact same issue. Every board I’ve ever made is viewed in every space, despite them being in different spaces.

Same here - boards are appearing in the wrong spaces! This exposes a lot of material to those who should not have access to that material. Please make this a high priority fix.

As an Edu plan user, I don’t know of a way to make an urgent technical issue known ASAP to those who can fix it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

The issue is that boards are not contained to their assigned spaces - everyone in every space can see every board! This exposes a ton of info to people that should not have access to that info.

A few of us have posted this on the Miro Community Forum earlier today, but I don’t know if anyone with the ability to address it has seen these messages.

Hi everyone!

thanks for reporting this and for the additional details. Since multiple users are experiencing the same behavior with boards appearing under Spaces where they don't belong, I've escalated this for review so the team can check whether there is an issue affecting Space/board visibility.

Yes please and confirming here as well. I run a bunch of student projects with carefully separated cohorts (via spaces). All projects are now appearing in all spaces.

Using Miro web on educational licence. Sometime in the past few weeks Miro Spaces which had specific boards allocated to each space, are now showing all boards in all spaces. I cannot move or delete boards from specific spaces. Is this a problem at Miro’s end?

Following! I am having the same issue here, also on an Education licence. I can move and delete spaces, but I am having the same problem of showing all boards in all spaces. It used to be that my spaces would act as a filter and only show me boards that were assigned to that space, but as of a couple of days ago this no longer happens. Now when I click on a space the list is still every board in the team. Looking through this forum and their help pages, it appears they are rolling out a new AI space overview feature which has not yet reached education plans - it could be related to that? It’s a huge inconvenience in any case, basically negates the purpose of having a space.

Dear Eca, how long we need to wait until the problem will be solved? I have a lot of boards with same name, i identified them only by clicking on special space.

Thanks for your time

Hi @Jim Buchan and @Melissa Rielly

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve already converted the earlier reports from yesterday into Support tickets for further investigation.

Since these appear to be the same issue, I’ll merge the posts into one consolidated thread so the reports and updates can be kept together. Thanks for helping us document the issue.
