Can you post a Loom or similar video of the behavior you are experiencing as I just move an image a few times on one of my test boards and had no issues with it remaining where I had moved it to? My config is a Windows 10 laptop running Google Chrome.
You might also try accessing Miro using an alternate method (e.g. incognito browser or desktop app) to see if the problem occurs with a different method.
