I wish Miro wasn't lagging

This is not a “wishlist” idea, this is a proper complaint.

After all these years, Miro board still lagging so much ti makes it unbearable to continue working like this. I mean, paying for a business account and not having fundamentals it’s ridiculous at this point.

Either I use the desktop app or the web app, either it’s my home internet connection or the office, the lag is still there. Switching windows is always making Miro boards “reconnect” and wait until everything is loaded again and again and again.

On top of that, god forbid I am on a video call and I load a Miro board, is going to make everything crush for a moment. Again, either the desktop app or the web app.

We love Miro for what it is, so please fix that so we can continue loving it.

HI @Constandroid

Thanks for taking the time to share this.

The issue you describe are not the experience we want, especially on a Business plan. While Miro boards can be demanding depending on size, object count, and active integrations, what you’re describing sounds more disruptive than expected and worth investigating further.

To help us narrow this down, could you please share:

  • Whether this happens on all boards or specific ones

  • Your OS and browser version (or desktop app version)

  • A short screen recording or HAR file, if possible

This will allow the Support team to check whether this is a known performance bottleneck, a board-specific issue, or something we can optimize on our side.

I’ve also converted this from a Wish List to a Conversation so it stays focused on troubleshooting and performance. Looking forward to your details so we can dig into this properly.

Hi @Eca

Thank you for the quick reaction! Let me share with you the information you asked:

  • It happens in all boards
  • My OS at the moment is macOS Tahoe 26.2 (thought it has been happening with previous versions too in different computers). The browser is Arc and I’m using the latest version: 1.129.0 . However I’m using only the MacOS app, I just checked with the browser and the effect is the same.
  • As for the recording, I’ll see what I can do later in the day. I have no idea what is the HAR file.

Thank you very much for looking into this.
