I was charged twice for who knows what?

So here goes nothing—because honestly, I’m starting to believe this issue will never be resolved. I started using Miro as a collaborative tool, and on October 30, 2025, I paid for what was labelled as a “renewal” on the invoice I received. I thought I was all set. I even put a reminder in my calendar so I’d remember to cancel the subscription before the deadline.

I used Miro a handful of times, and today I suddenly receive an invoice for 18 euros because some of my students apparently had “licenses.” Only now do I learn there’s an extra cost for that—something I was absolutely unaware of, largely because the subscription model is so ridiculously convoluted. At no point was it made clear that I’d be charged for every user who joins a virtual board I’m using in class.

This feels completely unfair, and it should be stated very clearly from the very beginning. Right now, I’m incredibly frustrated with Miro and I definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone unless (or until) I receive a full refund for charges I had no reasonable way of anticipating.

This is yet another example of a company sneaking in hidden fees because they bury the crucial information in the fine print. And frankly, I’m tired of it.

Hi Eca, I don’t know what that implies or means but I’m guessing you’re trying to help?
