I can’t login on Miro: I use email and password (currently unavailable) but now I’m not receiving the magic link to log in.

What can I do?

Hi everyone! Thanks for reaching out and reporting the issue! I have your case converted to a support ticket. You should receive a response shortly.

same issue here! I created a new business email account (different from the one I am using now to log in) and had a Miro board - now I dont receive any magic link and are unable to access via Microsoft login

I need urgently access to the Miro board I created with that account for a client :((((

what can I do?

hi @valeria-paris

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve converted your case to a Support ticket, and the team will follow up with you there.

Please note that the team is currently handling a high volume of tickets, so the response may take a little longer than usual. Thanks for your patience!

same here, we have a mail greylisting in our university, therefor it never worked but now there’s only this “MAGIC« link (btw it’s a really cynical name for people where login doesn’t work!), I even had troubles logging in here in the forum just to report this. I cannot change the greylisting setting as I’m a small user not an IT guy. Every Mail Server I know uses greylisting to some degree.

Please excuse my opinion, but I do not regard this as a wise choice technically for logging in. Also: I don’t have 15 Minutes time to log in on a service, whatever that is.

Example: I’m sitting in a class, presenting, got logged out of miro. And then that was it. I cannot log in anymore, don’t get the mail, if it finally arrives, it’s outdated. The audience can read my mail, while I’m checking unless I stop the presentation. It’s just gotten a big pain.

IMHO, this neither secure nor user friendly. I’ve never heard someone else than Miro claiming this is more secure than username/password/2FA or a passkey. How is an open mail that never even got encrypted and sent around in plain text in the internet, for everyone to intercept in theory, more secure than an encrypted passkey? OR 2FA with long passwords?

Your “magic link” is currently a dealbreaker, sorry having to say that.

If I do not use Google or any other big tech company to log in, there’s apparently no other way.

Regards, Michael
