That definitely sounds unexpected. Just to help us dig into this:

• Does this happen with every new card you create from a connected object, or just certain ones?

• If you manually create a card (not via connection), does it also appear oversized?

• What happens if you try this on a brand new board?

It’s super helpful to know that this only happens with connected cards on that specific board. Sounds like the issue might be isolated to how card objects are being styled or inherited in that setup.

Would you be open to sharing a short screen recording showing how the oversized card appears when using the connection tool? That would really help us understand what’s happening visually and see if it’s a reproducible bug.

Also, if you can, try duplicating the board and seeing if the behavior persists in the copy — sometimes that resets formatting glitches.
