On enterprise plan and I’d like to audit who needs licenses.

I would like to see who actually edits boards vs just opens boards to participate. I’ve already found a couple via word of mouth, but don’t see any way to find if a user made an edit to a board in the audit log, just in the individual board activity log.

Am I missing something? Or do I need to figure out how to do something like querying across multiple board activity logs for a more complete picture via the API?

💡 WORK AROUND

If you’re facing the same issue as me, here’s a workaround until the problem is solved: as long as any background color works, select the custom color mode for frames an enter the color-code for background color (#F2F2F2)!

uh, nope. I think you replied to the wrong thread honestly.

I just want a good way to audit user’s activity to make sure they’re actually using their licenses.

😁 yep, your’re right - but still a good workaround… Thx for mentioning!

Hey @James Ferguson sorry to reply on such an old post, but just wondering if you ever found any solution to this one? Currently going through the exact same thing and cant find anything anywhere I look :)

really late reply to an old thread, but nope. No simple solution. We even looked into playing around with the API to see if we could get snapshot information from each board on activity and crunch it that way. No dice.

So instead we just email folks and ask them if they still need the license periodically and hope they actually understand the permissions they think they need, but at the same time we know that there’s a significant portion of our licensed userbase who has never created a board of their own...
