My company wants to make the Miro Desktop application (Windows 10 64-bit) available to end users.

How does the application update itself? Do users get prompted that an update is available, and do users have to manually initiate the update, or does it install silently in the background without user interaction required?

If user interaction is required, does the user need to be an admin on his/her device?

Also, can someone approximate how frequently the Miro Desktop application updates (about once a month, twice yearly, etc.)?

Thanks!

@RonRonRon - When I look at my install on my Windows 10 machine, I see:

C:\Users\\user]\AppData\Local\RealtimeBoard\Update.exe

This Update.exe runs when I launch Miro.exe and if there is an update, I am prompted that there is an update. I think the new version does download on it’s own and I can launch the newer version now or later. However, don’t quote me on the exact process.

As for frequency, my best estimate would be monthly.

@Tolya Filippov - Is there anything you can add here?
