I would like the grid to be visible, and the image to be behind it.

@Torres Beaupre-Distad Have you brought the Grid forward or to the very front? For exmaple:

 

Other questions:

  • Does the grid have a color set, and what is the opacity?
  • Is either (or both) the table or grid in a Layer?

If none of this helps, perhaps sharing a screenshot or screen recording could help a Community member see something that might be causing a problem.


I mean the white background grid that scales with zoom, I would like it to appear over a map I have created to measure distances. This would be very helpful for determining large scale and small scale distances ​@Robert Johnson

Unfortunately, the board background grid is at the lowest visual level of the board and that cannot be modified in the way in which you described.

Combined with the Layers feature (where you could put a grid-like overlay, which could be toggled on/off), a few options could be to use

  1. the Grid object, which I showed previously
  2. a transparent PNG (examples)
