I have a bunch of pre-existing sticky notes, and now I’m trying to create the connecting lines between them.

Here’s a screenshot showing the outcome I’m looking for, and as you can see, most of the line text has the same value:

How do I achieve this outcome without a bunch of clicks or keystrokes? I currently do one of these two things:

  1. I can copy and paste an existing line, but it takes a lot of clicks to attach both ends to the correct stickies.
  2. I can start by connecting a new line between the stickies, but it takes a lot of clicks and keystrokes to find, select, copy, and paste the line text from the previous line to the new line.

Is there a more efficient way of doing this so that I don't have to type and click as much?

Thanks!

Hi @AoF

Would an approach like this be beneficial?

Cheers, Ken

It might. How did you create the right hand side of step two?

I just want to reiterate that all the stickies exist in advance and they are populated with unique values.

Ignore my previous Post (I would Delete it but it has not been Published yet while waiting to be Reviewed)… I didn’t understand you wanted to use the same Text on the Line.

@AoF suggestion from @Kenneth Ritley is good and I would add using the wAlt] + AArrow] Command after Group Selecting Board Objects because this will allow you to setup the Layout you show with very few Keyboard and Mouse Operations.

Thank you both for your replies. I may be misunderstanding your suggestions, but they seem like they copy the sticky notes, too. It’s not an option for me to copy the sticky notes because each sticky already exists, each one is unique, each one contains long text, and there should only be one of each.
